Hi guys.
This is the new RTA2600 router from amped wireless.
This one has the second a2600 mumymo router I've seen, rivaling the ea8500 from linksys I also have here.
Now MU-MIMOs a new WiFi technology that promise better performance for mix environment where there are multiple WiFi clients of different WiFi tiers.
And this one here is also one of the best routers from Amped Wireless I've ever seen.
It actually allows multiple clients to work together very well without Interfering with one another.
Now, unfortunately, though comparing apples to apples, it cannot reach as high as the Linksys, here, in almost all categories.
From speed to range, and especially in terms of network storage, when it is covered with an external hard drive.
And a major matter was at its current price of $280.00, it is some $40.00 more expensive than the Linksys.
Other than that this one here is quite a standard router with the usual four gigabit land ports and one gigabit one port.
On the side here it has the USB 3.0 port and another USB 2.0 port on the back.
It has four detachable antennae and note that all of them are on the back so the back is kinda crowded.
Still though, the router is quite compact for what it has on the inside.
It is equipped with a 1.4 gigahertz dual core processor, 128 megabyte flash storage, and 512 megabyte BDR3 system memory.
That is top spec, but unfortunately top spec do not always translate into top performance.

Basically, if you can find this one here for a good deal, get it and you won't regret.
At its full price, though, I would rather get this Linksys here and use that, saving $4 for something else, like a good nice haircut.
That's right.
And that's because I'm [UNKNOWN] and this has been the first look at the RTA 2600 router from Amped Wireless.
Yeah.
I have style.
