The 11-inch Sony Vaio ESony's 11-inch AMD ultraportable is thicker than many 13-inch laptops, but a lot less expensive.
I'm Dan Ackerman and we are here taking a look. At the new eleven inch -- Vaio. You may ask yourself what an average -- eleven X slots at least -- -- all the time. The -- is now an agency around quite as much -- is the eleven inch MacBook -- that's still pretty popular a couple of Lebanese gaming laptops. And wanted to but these have largely gone the way of netbook you don't seem a lot anymore because. People who need a laptop to travel around with a lot of people really jump to the super thin thirteen inch ultra books. And ultra book style laptop and give you more screen. For about the same -- even less than your average eleven inch flat out even -- it's slightly bigger footprints. There are case whoever we once and it's very small like this year are gonna go with eleven inch they can be very inexpensive. This guy starts at 449. They're a little bit on the thick side this one especially thicker than out pretty much all the -- -- significant thirteen inch laptop that we've seen recently. Of what you make up for that with a low price and Sony gets that by using it AMD's CPU in the system rather than what -- In Intel Core I three or other sort of low voltage Intel yet. And you do pay a little bit about price and terms of performance that -- when compared to more expensive Intel systems. But what you're really doing on your laptop especially your travel laptop surfing the web thing you know -- FaceBook it's actually perfectly fine you shouldn't get too hung up on that. And as an iPhone if indeed is -- -- -- -- graphics that since they bought ATI graphics company there were a lot of it technology. Into the -- CPUs now so you can actually play some of these games on this though without dropping -- for -- really too much. Even though this is a smaller laptop you typical really nice and -- keyboard with a flat island style keys -- the key features are actually pretty big. The touch -- kinda get squeezed -- about call of litter box style. Where it's much longer than it is -- -- -- of largely due to finger gestures like scrolling to get through -- -- page if you ever get some ports that that the -- -- but sometimes have to leave out for space. Like a full ethernet Jack -- VGA video output which is something that down a lot -- -- thinner laptops just can't fit -- What you do get it even more important that it's really nice new design that the Sony. To have kind of this wraparound look at the very bottom if it looks a little bit -- instance -- -- Sony's more expensive laptops. Of which can if you look at little generics if you're going to overlook the lower power MD processors. And just use this -- the travel laptop for web surfing email basic stuff like that. I think unify the very usable I'm Dan Ackerman and that is the -- files easier.
