Tesla's new secret plan is coming soon.
Tesla Motor's CEO Elon Musk published a Tweet, saying, working on Top Secret Tesla Masterplan, Part 2. Hoping to publish later this week.
The original Secret Tesla Motor's Masterplan was published back in August 2006 Elon Musk then stated in a blog post that the second model will be a sporty four door family car at roughly half the $89k price point of the Tesla Roadster.
That turned out to be the Tesla Model 3 introduced in March 2016.
The car's pricing starts at $35,000.
Tesla has already received over 400,000 pre orders on the car.
Deliveries of the vehicle are not expected until the end of 2017.
Tesla's in the news where lots of reasons these days, the death of the Tesla Model S driver has caused an investigation by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration The driver had engaged the model S's autopilot mode.
The driver was killed when a tractor trailer made a left turn in front of the model S, but the model S continued driving under the trailer.
Auto pilot mode is a set of features that allows the car to steer itself, in traffic, among other things.
The mode requires a driver to be able to take control at all times.
For half the new master plan, brings new features to auto pilot.
Rumors are swirling that a new version is coming soon.
Or maybe the plan will address Tesla's production issues.
The company has missed targets in the past.
Whatever the plan may be, Tesla shares rose over four percent after [UNKNOWN] tweeted out that part two of the master plan is coming.
