>> Welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. You may have discovered the window cascading feature in Windows when you right click the task bar, now most people tend to dismiss this feature because really when was the last time you needed to cascade all of your windows. But guess what, it's possible to apply this to only the windows you select. Just Control click the desired windows in the task bar, then right-click one of them. In XP you'll get Tile, Cascade or Close. With Vista you can choose between Cascade, Minimize Group, Close Group, Show Window Stacked or Side-by-Side. Now you can cascade or tile only the few windows you actually need tiled or cascaded. It's really a much better way to organize multiple open windows especially if you do a lot of copying and pasting between apps and documents. Plus, you can make use of all that screen real estate that new wide screen monitors give you or make the most of that tiny screen you're still using on that five-year old laptop. Now if you have a tip or trick that you wanna share, then email us at tekzilla@revision3.com. And don't forget, tekzilla.com, it's the place to find more tips, tricks, product reviews and how-to's.
