>> Hey everyone, welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. By default Windows Vista saves and displays a list of recently opened files and programs in your start menu. In most cases this can be a quick way to access your most used programs. But, what if you have all your programs in the Quick Launch bar and want to use that space for something else or maybe you just don't want anyone to see your most frequented applications -- you know who you are. Luckily it's fairly easy to keep this info private. Just right-click the Task Bar and click Properties. Choose the Start Menu tab and uncheck the check boxes under privacy. Now all that space is available to drag your own choice of programs in to if you so choose. And you can rest easy knowing that how you really spend your time is known by you and only you. Got a tip for us to pass along to the rest of the Tekzilla crew, email us at Tekzilla@revision3.com. And as always, tekzilla.com, it's the place to find more tips, tricks, product reviews and how-tos.
