For a lot of people, Facebook has become the go to tool for remembering friends' birthdays.
But what happens if you don't log in on a regular basis?
Luckily for Android phone users, there's a great app that lets you schedule Facebook posts ahead of time.
First, download Birthday Scheduler for Facebook for $1.42 from the Android market place.
Next, into your Facebook log in information, to access your list of friends and their birthdays.
Go through that list and select the ones for whom you'd like to schedule a message then top the pencil icon, write your message and set the delivery time and date.
For iPhone users, check out the free app download S publisher.
It's designed to schedule Facebook messages to post on your own wall or anyone else's but it's particularly useful for birthday greetings.
Start with the list icon and you'll see your friend organized by birthdays.
Tap on the friends, write your birthday message and then adjust the calendar date and time for when you'd like it sent.
Both solutions are so simple if you can remember to use them.
