>> Valentine's Day will be here in a heartbeat, and if your honey likes high-tech gadgets, Natali Del Conte, "Early Show" contributor and senior editor of CNET, is here with some great gift ideas. Good morning, Natali.
>> Good morning.
>> Number one, a notebook. Why give somebody a notebook for Valentine's Day?
>> Well, you know, chocolates and flowers are nice, but those go away. These last a lot longer.
>> Good point.
>> I wouldn't say like a diamond because you do have to upgrade your gadgets, but they last longer. So we have his and her Vaios. This is the new CW line of Sony, and they come in this nice pink for her, and then this is a cobalt blue for him.
>> Very nice. And these, you can upgrade if you want and put a Blu-ray player, and they're only around $800.00. So they're so affordable, and you can watch movies, romantic comedies --
>> There you go.
>> -- That kind of thing.
>> How about giving this with a DVD of a romantic comedy?
>> That'll say, "I love you."
>> Yes, definitely will.
>> All right. What is this? An iReader?
>> This is an eBook reader.
>> Teeny weenie.
>> Isn't it so tiny? This is the Sony Pocket edition, and instead of buying someone these bodice rippers, which are sexy, you can load them on this eReader.
>> So it's kind of the high-tech way to give a sexy story.
>> Oh, I love it. See, you're showing us the gadget, but then a way to make it a little bit romantic.
>> Exactly. You can preload them, and I'm told this is a really sexy book. I haven't read it before, but "License to Thrill," you can get tons of books like that, that are-
>> With a title like that, it's got to be.
>> All right, these I do on my Apple. I love these books. Such a great idea.
>> Aren't these cute gift ideas?
>> If someone were to give you this, chronicling your relationship, I mean, you get tons of points for this. This one was made by Apple. There are a lot of software programs that can do this if you don't have a Mac. Polaroid Studio is a good place to go, and you can get those rushed. And you -- the software is so easy. Upload an album and just move it around. You can put little captions. It's really cute. You can make calendars.
>> You can make t-shirts. You can make anything you want.
>> And that's an important point. If you have all your pictures on your computer anyway --
>> -- It does not take long to do this.
>> It really doesn't.
>> For guys who are thinking, "Ah, I don't have the time." You probably do.
>> It's fast. It's really easy to do and easy to manipulate. You just kind of move them around. Really cute.
>> All right. Next.
>> I don't know who wouldn't like that.
>> I would love it. All right, so if you have a Wii, what is this?
>> These are his and her Wii-motes. I had actually never knew that they came in different colors.
>> Cute name.
>> They're very cute. This is the controller that controls the Nintendo Wii. Usually, they're white, but for Valentine's Day, you can get them in pink or blue for him or her. These also have this little Wii Motion Plus on the bottom, which is an attachment that makes it extra sensitive so that when you're playing the next generation of games, it senses all of your motions. So you move it around to control your characters.
>> So the regular plain white ones don't have that extra feature?
>> Unh-unh, they don't.
>> That's an upgrade. So these come in a bundle. It's about $50.00
>> All right.
>> I think it's very cute for the gamer in your life.
>> And lastly, the perfect gift for a long distance relationship like me and Dave have --
>> Is a webcam.
>> -- Because I'm over here on this side of the studio, and he's all the way on the other side of the studio.
>> I know. I kind of miss him.
>> So we can come around and just chat with him if we want to.
>> Okay. [Inaudible] go ahead.
>> Let's say hello. He's got flowers for us.
>> See, a face like that how could you not --
>> -- Fall in love with that?
>> Hi baby.
>> We miss you.
>> I miss you, too. You feel so close to me.
>> Hey, why you saying -- why you saying "Hi baby" to her?
>> Hey, get out of my action here. It's Valentine's Day. Natali, love, come back.
>> Oh, thank you for the flowers, but I think I'd rather have a gadget. I'd rather have an iPod.
>> Let's talk about that --
>> -- After the show ends, Natali.
>> Hey, let's keep it clean. Tell us what this is.
>> No discussion of the gadgets on the air, please.
>> This -- this gadget. What is it?
>> This is a MacBook, but we've put a Logitech webcam. This is a CNET editor's choice because it works great in any lighting so if you've got some romantic lighting, you can have dinner for two long distance.
>> You can put on any computer?
>> Yeah. So it just uses a little USB port there.
>> All right, very easy. Bye-bye Dave. Can we unplug him?
>> We -- well, we can just hang up on him.
>> See you later. Bye.
>> And thank you Natali.
>> You're welcome.
