Hello, everybody.
It's Lyn La from CNET and right now we're gonna check out the Alcatel One Touch Fierce from T Mobile.
The Fierce is an entry-level 4G handset that has a 4.5-inch QHD display with a 960x540 pixel resolution.
Powering the device is a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor and then 1.8 mAh battery that has a reported talk time of 8 hours.
Now, oddly, even the battery door
is removable, the battery itself is not.
In fact, there's a warning label here that tells you not to dismantle it but you can access the micro SD card slot that's expandable up to 32 gig.
The handset also features a 5-megapixel camera that's capable of shooting 720p video and a VGA front-facing camera.
One thing to know about the camera's UI is that when you tap on this icon here, the camera starts automatically recording.
This is pretty jarring because when would expect this icon mean the camera just switches to video mode
and not actually start shooting video.
The phone runs Android 4.2 Jellybean and comes with a handful of useful pre-loaded apps like an FM Radio, Facebook and Twitter.
Other features include 4 gigs of internal memory, which ends up being more like 2.4 gigs of available memory for the user and 1 gig of RAM.
If you're interested, the device is going for the contract free price of $139.99.
Again, I'm Lyn and you've been checking out T Mobile's One Touch Fierce.
