Subaru Levorg Prototype: We won't get the wagon, but we may get the tech

[MUSIC] Okay, don't get excited because I'm not here to tell you that the new Super Levorg here is coming to the United States because it's not, but we can't resist an opportunity to take a gander at a sweet sweet dragon. So here we are. However the Levorg or legacy evolution touring to parse it out does have some implications for the US market for starters it's now underpinned by subarus global platform like the rest of the brand. However there is a new 1.8 liter turbo charged boxer four cylinder engine under the hood. And we don't have any information about performance or efficiency of that power train, but the [UNKNOWN] generation [UNKNOWN] was pretty much underpinned by this same powertrail [UNKNOWN] form as the WRX that we get in the States. So does that mean that, that 1.8L turbo charged engine is gonna find its way in the next generation WRX? Maybe Now other news is that Subaru's eyesight technology, the driver aid system, has upgraded to 360 vision as opposed to the stereoscopic cameras that we got now that only look straight ahead. What does that mean for Subaru's driver aid technology and what we see in the United States? Well, we're not quite sure Now I know what you're thinking. I'm raising a whole lot of questions and not giving you a lot of answers. But for now the Levorg here is what Subaru calls a prototype somewhere between a concept and a production vehicle. So we're just gonna have to wait and see what Subaru does next, but know that as soon as we know we'll be letting you know when these technologies make it to our side of the Pacific.
