So, this is what we can achieve using Seam Carving. And the idea is if you find such scenes and you remove them, then what happens is that the image can change the width or the height by one. So here's an example of actually what's going on behind the scene, when we resize that bicycle scene. You can see that the seams are found and then are removed gradually and this is what changes the size of the image.
The basic idea behind this seaming surgeon is that you duplicate the scenes in a reverse order. Instead of removing them you insert them one by one as if you were to remove them but instead you duplicate them. And then what you get is the extended version of the original image.
Try and work and may be change history a little bit. So, how about if I just try to remove those people from the scene. Not too much, so I just paint them with negative weights, as I said, and I press erase and I get a new image hopefully about the same size.
