This is CNET and here are the stories that matter right now. Following a successful campaign of pop-up stores, which sold spectacles through high-tech vending machines. Snap is now selling its video recording glasses online. Starting now, those who weren't able to pick up a pair on person, can now head to spectacles.com and fork over $130. That price will get you the glasses and it's slick carrying case that doubles as a charger. According to Microsoft focus site therot, the company does not plan on creating an incremental version of it's augmented reality headset, the Hololens. Instead it appears Microsoft looks forward to a more generational jump, instead of a year over year improvement. This new plan could delay the release of the new headset until 2019. And finally, YouTube has decided to do away with the 30 second unskipable ads that run before certain videos. It's no secret that viewers dislike the experience and according to the BBC, Google says it's going to instead focus on formats. That work well for both users and advertisers.
