Soundfreaq's new speakers and tiny clock look lovely
Transcript
Hello.
I'm Luke Westaway from CNET here at CES 2014.
We're taking a look at three new Soundfreaq Speakers.
Let's take a look at them in ascending order of size.
First off is this.
It's the Pocket Kick.
Now, this speaker's real appeal comes from its size.
Soundfreaq ones has to be small enough that you can tuck it in your back or keep it in your pocket and basically not after planning ahead when you want to play around some music out and about.
It's gonna
cost $100 [unk].
Next stop is one of the lovely looking products.
It's an updated version of Soundfreaq's Sound Rise.
Now, as you probably can guess from the name on the display here, this is an alarm clock.
It has a built-in radio but it also functions as just having a Bluetooth speaker in your bedroom.
This one is out in April and it's gonna cost $70.
Finally, this is the Double Spots.
It's like a miniature, great classy-looking boombox.
It comes with a
battery that's gonna last 7 hours, with the battery to buy it cost $150.
Soundfreaq tells me that if you don't need the battery, you will also be able to buy it without that at a lower cost.
So, three quite simple audio products.
I like the design of all of them but something's very annoying for Apple fans is none of them have advised for it.
I'm Luke Westaway for CNET.
