I'm David Carnoy executive editor for cnet.com and I'm here with a pair of basic bookshelf speakers.
These retail for about 65 dollars online.
In the Sony SS.
B 1000 bookshelf speakers these retail for around 65 dollars -- so -- line the pricing to fluctuate a little bit.
But these are basic bookshelf speakers and actually sound pretty decent for the price.
They have a decent amount of -- not incredibly well defined base but we -- these up with -- 25 dollar low high --
-- -- a pretty good system for under a hundred dollars.
These -- -- five point 25 inch will for.
Any one inch Tweeter there's also a step up version of the speaker called the SB 3000. That's actually a bigger bookshelf speaker with three drivers.
That actually may be the better deal but these are smaller more compact. -- and for a lot of people this -- making nice little desktop system.
We compared these with a pair I had -- audio speakers that retail for around 4045 dollars of these have a little bit better build quality.
It is a faux wood green finish on these.
The Dayton's -- a little bit cheaper but the -- did sound a little better this slightly bigger speaker with more well the -- days.
It's -- -- note these are passive speakers so you will have to hook them up to some sort of amp.
Into a plastic spring clip wire connectors on the back.
I get nothing fancy do you come with some speaker wire and just have to come up and am I'm -- -- and -- of these Sony SS would be 1000 bookshelf speakers.
