Hi, I'm Justin Yu with cnet.com.
This is a first look at the Skullcandy Roc Nation Aviator headphones.
The Aviators are collaborative effort between Skullcandy and Jay-Z's music publishing company and that 150 dollars are among the pricey scans the company offers.
We have our reservations about any company marketing 150 dollar anything to kids, but these headphones are now recommendation for an attractive design, in line remote, and impressive sound quality.
The Roc Nation Aviators come in black, brown and white, but they all feature the soft leather headband that cushions the stainless steel lining of frame.
In terms of sound design, Skullcandy has a history of overpowering base to appease younger listeners, but the Roc Nation Aviator has a sound signature that would lie heavier on the mid range with the sparkle to the treble that blends well with the base and that's not to say that the low end is under whelming can handle hip hop.
In fact, I actually prefer the smooth base of the Aviator over the booming monster beat by Dre headphones.
For the clear focus and instrument separation, not to mention the beats caused double the price.
You can read my full review on the cnet.com, but that's gonna do it for me.
I'm Justin Yu.
These are the Skullcandy Roc Nation Aviator headphones and that sounds good to you.
