This Verizon Jetpack 6620L will boost your iPad with fast Internet and long battery lifeCNET editor Dong Ngo's dream of having a hotspot shower almost comes true with the capacious Jetpack MiFi 6620L from Verizon.
[MUSIC] Hi guys, **** Ngo and this is the Jetback 6620L mobile hotspot from Verizon. Now this one here connect to the internet using a cellular signal, and then share that connection to other mobile devices such as laptops or tablets. The question is, since most smart phone can be a hot spot. Via the personal hotspot features. Why do you want this new JetPack? Well, there are a few reasons. First, this one here supports up to 15 Wi-Fi devices, a lot more than any other mobile hotspot I ever seen. Or any phones for that matter. Secondly it's unlocked, and it means work anywhere in the world as you have to change the SIM and maybe a few settings. But the main reason why you want this one is because come with a very powerful battery. 4,000 mAh. And that mean it has very long battery life. Up to some 20 hours of. And, you can also easily use it as a juice pack to charge your other mobile devices. For example, it can extend the battery life of the iPhone 6 here to almost 200%, and it can work as a juice pack and a mobile hot spot at the same time. There's a large LCD screen here for you to manage to the WiFi network and also view starters of the device. It also comes with a very easy to use web interface to change even more settings such as parental controls, [UNKNOWN], GPS and many other features. And by the way it's the first mobile hot spot that I've ever seen that can work as a selective dual band router. Meaning they can work in either 2.4 gigahertz or 5 gigahertz at a time. Now as far as performance concern I use this one here as an excuse to take a joy ride around the San Francisco Bay area and it worked really well. With a download speed ranging from some 10 megabit per second to close to. Forty megabit per second. And even right now, right here, I am in a dungeon, really. I can get close to 15 megabits per second. Not bad at all. Now, the JetPack here is said to cost $50 with two-year contract or $200 without. There's no unlimited data plan, but it can easily view how much if you use. Right on the screen right here. And for more on this one here, check out my full review on CNET.com. Basically it's one of the best mobile hotspot on the market. You should trust me on that. Why? Because I have a [INAUDIBLE] And also, so far, I have almost enough of these devices. To have a hotspot shower. Here's a few examples, plus one. And that's because, I'm **** Ngo, and this has been the first look at the Jetpack 6620L Mobile Hotspot from Verizon.
