It's time to light up your E-reader World.
I'm Bridget Carey and this is your CNET update.
The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite E-reader, which I have right here is now shipping and we have the full review.
CNET executive editor, David Carnoy said why this is the top of the e-reader pack and it was given an editor's choice award.
It looks a lot like last year's Kindle Touch.
It's just doesn't have a home button in the bottom center.
The battery life is great.
So you could just keep the screen light on the whole time except of course when you're in direct sunlight.
It also has a capacitive touchscreen unlike the competing e-Ink readers.
This new Kindle also keeps track your reading speed given an estimated time when you're finished reading a chapter or the rest of the book displayed in the bottom corner.
But be aware.
There is no audio support in this model.
The starting price with advertisements on the home screen is $119 and that's the same price as the Barnes and Noble version, the Nook GlowLight, which has dropped each price to match it.
The Nook GlowLight had trouble keeping up with orders and it seems that Amazon's facing similar delays.
Orders of the Paperwhite are now delayed until the end of October so if you're thinking about getting one as a holiday gift, you better act fast.
Apple has released a bug fix for the iPhone 5 on Verizon.
The bug was causing some devices to use data even when the device was connected to a wi-fi network.
The updated download can be found under settings.

The streaming video service added a
Just for Kids menu option.
Only the iPad 2 and new iPad can get it now.
But version is coming soon for Android and the original iPads and we should wish a very happy birthday to this guy, the CD.
