[MUSIC] You know, it's really cool to see a new company come to light and here at this Paris Motor Show we are getting to know a country's very first automobile manufacturer. It's called VinFast and it is straight out of Vietnam. VinFast is debuting two vehicles here, a sedan and an SUV. The sedan is powered by a two liter turbo-charged engine, which is tuned for 173 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Or, You can go big and tune that bad boy for 227 horsepower and 258 pound feet of torque. Regardless, power goes down to the rear wheels only, and as for that SUV that gets only the larger tune, but you can get rear wheel drive or all wheel drive, and both vehicles get an 8-speed automatic transmission. When it comes to design, VinFast decided to go the crowd sourcing route. They released 20 sketches to the Vietnamese public and they came back with these. Good job, Vietnam! These are really, really nice. I really like this cool wing signature shape that we've got going on in the front and the back. I mean, for a first effort, well, for any effort, really, these things are really, really well buttoned up. And that's probably because VinFast worked with Pininfarina to get these things looking [SOUND] Really, really nice. The cars will go on sale in Vietnam in 2019, but the company is doing testing in Europe as well. Future planned vehicles include a small car for the city, an EV, and an electric bus. Hey, we've got all the stories for you, right here from the Paris Motor Show, so keep it tuned right here to theroadshow.com.
