In partnership with HTC the 8.9 inch device is equipped with a 2048 by 1536 picture resolution. And a Corning Gorilla glass 3 display. It also has dual front facing speakers here with HTC's boom sound technology for an advanced audio experience. Powering the tablet is a 64 bit Nvidia K1 processor that has a clock speed of 2.3 gHz and a 192 core Keppler GPU. Inside there's a 6.7 amp per hour battery which should provide about 9.5 hours of continuous video playback. The Nexus 9 also has an 8 megapixel rear shooter and an 1.6 megapixel front-facing camera. The device runs Google's newest mobile OS, Android 5.0 KitKat, in its purest form. The update comes with a refreshed interface and new features like a self-service guest mode function and notifications on the lock screen.
