Prodigio machine brings app-connected smarts to Nespresso's pod coffee brewing line
[MUSIC]
We're at the Home and Houseware Show 2016 in Chicago, taking a look at the Nespresso Prodigio, connected espresso machine.
This device is the first connected and app controlled coffee maker that Nespresso has introduced.
It allows you to brew coffee from your phone or tablet over a bluetooth wireless connection.
It allows you to set a programmed brew time ahead of schedule, so you can have it wake you up in the morning with a nice, hot cup of espresso.
The [UNKNOWN] will come in two versions.
One that costs $249 that will only let you do espresso.
A $299 version will let you also make espresso based drinks with milk and You can do cappuccino, lattes, that sort of thing.
Both machines are available for purchase now directly through the Nespresso website, as well as through select retailers.
Nespresso definitely plans to add more features through the app, like ordering more coffee when you run out.
Right now I can't wait to take a look at this machine up close.
Stay tuned for a full review.
