Speaker 1: Hello, everyone. And welcome. I'm really excited to have you all with us today at op we've been exploring the immense possibilities of extended reality technology for quite a while. And during the last two in day events, we have showcased some of the groundbreaking progress with our AR glass prototypes. We've gained the vast amount of experience in optics and special computing technology needed [00:00:30] to make extended reality possible. We've also worked closely with developers hosting events, where we've learned more about what both consumers and the, the industry want throughout this journey. We've constantly asked ourselves one question right now in 2021. How can we make extended reality accessible to more people? How can we create a product that is able [00:01:00] to serve people in a way that's both practical and portable with this goals in mind, we needed to create a device with a new form factor. This is AR assisted reality, a new tool for a new world when that is more portable and more practical for their life, providing people with access to information in a way that is not only fast, but also convenient [00:01:30] and enabling people to make use of it in a way that assists their understanding of the world around them. And this is open AR glass. Let's take a look Speaker 1: [00:02:00] Impressive, right? As a device designed to be one our users face, we knew from the very start that wait eyes and appearance would be crucial to getting the design of Opal air glass, [00:02:30] right? The design of the main body takes inspiration from a feather light, nimble and curved with the touch bar. So slim, it looks like the SHA of a feather. The eyeglass lens breaks away from the tr additional wrong or wrong. The rectangular designs with its shape that looks like a Sakata wing. And you can appreciate how light this lense is just from its appearance to create [00:03:00] these free flowing curves. We've used an integrated CNC process to manufacture the frame resulting in just approximately 30 grams in total weight for op AR glass, small and beautiful light and nimble op air glass is everything you expect from a wearable device. And more aside from the design, the quality of the display is essential [00:03:30] to providing a comfortable and practical user experience and essential to delivering this high display quality is the image projector to keep open air glass as light and portable as possible. Speaker 1: We designed all the core components for the projector from the ground up. The result is one of the smallest projectors ever made the spark micro projector. [00:04:00] The entire projector module is just 0.5 cubic centimeters in volume, making it about the size of a single coffee beam. This is only possible thanks to an integrated CNC metal design and a five lens projection system, which provide improved it participation and stability while keeping everything confined to a tiny space driving the spark micro projector [00:04:30] is the world's most advanced micro L E D and L E D array. So powerful. The combined output of its full micro pixels can achieve a brightness of up to 3 million needs. The display of oppo air glass uses a bespoke Def optical wave guide to significantly improve peak brightness. And the uniformity, the optical wave guide provides [00:05:00] a 256 level scale display with a maximum average button of 1,400 needs ensuring its content is always visible. Speaker 1: We have also used two layers of supply glass to blanket the display area, providing improved transparency and the durability. All of the components powering open air glass are host in the compact tempo section [00:05:30] of the frame. They say that the best things come in small packages and to squeeze all of this power into such a small space. Our engineers meticulously designed the internal structure host the intersection of the frame is not only the projector, but also snap dragging where 4,100 platform touch bar battery, wifi, Bluetooth, speaker D microphones, [00:06:00] and more. Our goal with op air glass is to help you access information more effectively, connect seamlessly with your phone or your smart watch through the control app on your smartphone or smart watch. You can adjust display rightness and sound volume or completely turn off notifications if needed. This is also where you can launch and close apps. Speaker 1: Once launched information from the apps will be displayed [00:06:30] on the lens for you to view wearing your op air glass. When you receive a notification, just tap the touch bar to view it in full or for two hands free interaction. Just no your head down to open the notification. And once you are done, you can shook your head to close it. You can also check things like the weather, other daily essentials, like the calendar [00:07:00] are never far from site either. And to switch between different apps. All I need to do is swiping along the touch bar, located on the side of the open glass with the teleprompter app. I can simply upload the speech, select the size, the positioning under the control of the text. And I'm ready to go to move on to the next block of text. I just tap the touch bar [00:07:30] and we are also testing hand, just tracking with open watch so you can interact intuitively. Speaker 1: This next feature is what I'm really excited about. Translation. Once paired, both sides can start communicating as they would in their own language. The voice is converted to text, which is then translated and it displayed in your preferred language ly. It supports translation in Chinese [00:08:00] and English. We support for Chinese and Japanese and the Chinese and Korean soon to follow navigation is something we all use on a daily basis. And with open air glass, it becomes a whole lot easier, simply launch the navigation app and the beginning, the nav. If I want to find my way to China resources to all I need to do is say walk or cycle to China resources [00:08:30] to, and then the navigation will start with open air glass. All the information you need is displayed right there for you and through the speaker next to your ear. Right now, we are working closely with OU to further enhance the navigation experience. And this is open Speaker 1: [00:09:30] Now that you've seen how open air glass is set to revolutionize assisted relative for all. Let me quickly go over just some of the innovations that are behind this exceptional device. Opal air glass is built around the pioneering monocular wave guide design powered by a ultra bright 3 million net micro L E D and our spark micro projector and protected [00:10:00] by highly transparent and the durable of fire glass. Thanks to the lightweight components and its integrated CNC manufactured design op glass weighs around 30 grams and it's sleek. Minimum design is brought to life in two stunning color finishes, white and black. What's more op air glass is a breeze to use offering [00:10:30] seamless connectivity with op smartphones and op watch as well as ways to control through touch, voice, head movement, and hand gestures. As always with op technology, we want air glass to be accessible to as many people as possible. We offer two different frame designs, a full framing, black and a have frame design in silver, each of which [00:11:00] is available in two sizes. Speaker 1: These customer frames ensure that open air glass can be worn comfortably and securely when walking, jogging and cycling throughout the day open air glass is the future of extended reality. And we believe that it will become the third screen in our lives after the smartphone and the [00:11:30] smart watch. This future is just around the corner today. I'm excited to announce that op air glass is schedule to launch in mainland China. In the first quarter of China, 22, we are excited to see how people for our all works of life interact and engage with the world through their open air glass. We will be creating a community for users to provide feedback [00:12:00] and share their experiences with the glasses exploring the full potential of extended reality means not only creating a product that opens new doors for its users, but also one that brings new possibilities to developers. Speaker 1: Finally, after years of hard work, we have created a practical and user friendly smart class, but we also know that there [00:12:30] is a much longer journey ahead to unlock the real pretend show of extended reality. With that in mind, I'm also pleased to announce that op post smart class SDK will be made available to developers, including our customer version of by maps. Developers can explore their own exciting ways of bringing the of extended reality to more users. We look forward to working [00:13:00] with developers and industry partners, as we build the entire ecosystem around the extended reality under the future of consumer electronic devices.
