[MUSIC] I'm here at the hire booth at CES, 2018. And GE appliances, which is a hire company, wants you to get rid of your over the range microwave, and your exhaust hood, in favor of this. A big house hub that is suppose to go over your range and be the control centre of your home. So this hub is a 27 inch touch screen tablet essentially, that runs on the platform that is android based From the hub you can access lot of functions, like watching cooking videos in real time, video chatting, checking out your other connected smart home devices like Security cameras or other appliances like your GE connected washers and dryers. And the hub also has some functionality other than just being a tablet. Underneath the hub there's a fan that will circulate any steam or smoke that you might be worried about after you're cooking. And it also has lights to illuminate your cooktop. And if you're really into sharing photos of Of your food, especially while it's cooking. There's cameras under the hub that will capture what you're cooking on your cooktop. This hub is a pretty interesting concept. We've seen Samsung try to put something like this in their family hub refrigerator. GE Appliances thinks your smart home command center should be right above your stove. GE Appliances smart home hub will be available for $600 in fall 2018. [BRIEF JINGLE]
