[MUSIC] My name is Denaya Goleta. I was born in Iowa, raised in Zimbabwe, and I am a storyteller. You can replace the idea of the zombies into many things. That is why I think it resonates with people young and old. I'd researched a lot about women in war. And researching Michelle in The Walking Dead, the world had changed her so dramatically from who she was. When your society, when what you know was normal is removed, you become somebody else. And the question is who are you gonna become? [MUSIC] I'm as good as you see on the TV show, that's me, so whatever you see on there, you can assess my abilities from that. And of course I'm nowhere even close to how it is used by the masters, but it is a beautiful weapon. [MUSIC] Absolutely not. [LAUGH] Nope, they've got a chip in me, a little zing me. [MUSIC] I've got an offer from my agents, I thought I was punked cuz so I was like still shock for the offer, but. Then it was real. This is the role I never knew I always wanted. It was very important to me that she was a woman who loved her country and enjoyed her life and enjoyed being a woman. Not like a militaristic idea of how a woman in the military would talk- I was like no, that's not how she's going to talk. I didn't get a cell phone for quite a long time. And now as my cell phone is just something I deeply need and deeply wish I spent less time with. [LAUGH] [MUSIC] A clone. [LAUGH] Something that did what I need to get done for me. So I didn't have to do it all. If I had something that had my brain in it that could just go and handle things where it's two of us doing everything. That would be amazing. [MUSIC]
