Mayfield Robotics Kuri is a cute little rolling robot.
It'll cost $800 when it arrives in December.
And when it does, it'll be able to record moments of your life automatically, whether you're aware of it or not.
Kuri vision is the name for a service that will record eight five-second snippets of your life with its 1080p camera.
Saved to the robot and to Kuri's cloud service to share with family and friends.
Kuri learns over time to recognize faces, and even your dog or cat.
And with its treads it can navigate over carpet and bumps up to 2 centimeters tall.
You can choose to tell Kuri not to record, or to only do it in certain places For certain times.
But, Curry's automatic home movies are a hint of where other home cameras might go next.
Grabbing snippets of your life automatically, perhaps.
Free roaming, automatically deciding what to capture.
Or not to.
For as long as its battery lasts at least, about two hours before it recharges itself.
And comes back maybe to record again.
