Best Buy will stop selling Huawei phones. CNET has learned that Best Buy the largest electronics retailer in the US, will stop selling phones made by Chinese manufacturer Huawei. Best Buy has also stopped ordering new Huawei smartphones. A spokesperson for Best Buy would not give any other details. Huawei is the third largest smartphone vendor, but had trouble getting a foothold in the US. Best Buy was one of the few places in the United States where people could try out Huawei phones as they are not sold by US wireless carriers. At CES, in January, Huawei introduced its Mate 10 Pro smartphone and was expected [UNKNOWN] partner with AT&T. The Mate 10 Pro has a six-inch screen and a big battery. In a demo, while we use the Mate 10 Pro to drive a Porsche, the goal was to show up how powerful the Mate 10 Pro is. However, reports say that AT&T dropped the Mate 10 Pro due to political pressure. Devices by Huawei has raised security concerns since 2012 and the House Intelligence Commitee release a report saying that Huawei and ZTE Electronics pose national security threats. Arguably, Huawei's biggest break in the US came in 2015, when they built the Google Nexus 6P. CNET called the 6P the best ever Nexus.
