WikiLeaks is at it again. The site released a brand new batch of documents that put Apple at the center of alleged CIA hacking efforts. The documents released under Vault 7, Dark Matter, reveals some of the tools used access Macs and iPhones. These include infected thunderbolt to Ethernet adapters that plugged into the computers, and custom versions of iOS infected with malware. This is the second time in less than a month that Wikileaks claims to have documents detailing government hacking techniques. On March 7th, the site released thousands of alleged CIA documents that describe how they broke into smartphones, TVs and computers. What's interesting about this particular leak is that it specifically targets Apple devices According to the documents, the CIA has had Apple devices on their radar since the inception of the iPhone. Wikileaks said, it's likely the CIA accessed Apple products and infected them by introducing mail orders. Opening, infecting, and resending leaving the United States.
