David Katzmaier for CNET here, standing in front of Samsung's 105-inch curved UHD LCD TV. This set is built as the world's first curved UHD TV. UHD means, it's 4K resolution, higher than standard TNAP. A 105 inches means, that it's gigantic. Maybe you can see behind me, this TV is actually a 21 by 9 aspect ratio. That's a little bit wider than your standard 16 by 9. The is ideas is that, it allows you to show those ultra-wide screen movies in their native resolution without any sort of black parts above and below the screen. Samsung says the curve enables the TV to be a little bit more immersive. But of course, with a 105-inched screen it's gonna be pretty immersive, anyway. The curved TV as we have seen look a little bit distorted, but again, if the TV is this large, you can minimize the distortion by sitting a little bit further the back. That's a look at Samsung's 105-inch curved UHD LCD TV at CES 2014. I'm David Katzmaier for CNN.
