Mr. Saverin says he's a global citizen, but it just so happens, the country where he has chosen to reside, Singapore has no capital gains tax.
This tax avoidance scheme is outrageous.
Saverin has turned his back on the country that welcomes him and kept him safe, educated him and helped him become a billionaire.
This is a great American Success Story gone horribly.
Eduardo Saverin wants to befriend the United States of America just to avoid paying taxes and we aren't gonna let him get away with it.
Citizenship is not for sale.
This despicable trend that Saverin exhibits must be stopped dead in his tracks.
One thing we know for sure.
He won't be allowed to set foot in this country.
Another thing we know for sure, any investment does in the United States will be taxed.
As for the rest of his money, unfortunately, he gets to do what he wants with it.
