If self driving cars make you nervous just wait until you find yourself next to a self driving semi-trailer truck.
A new company called Auto wants to put self driving big rigs on the highways.
But these are not specially made vehicles.
Otto is able to retrofit an existing truck with sensors and software to give it self-driving powers.
Otto is currently testing three trucks on California highways, but it is not revealing much detail on what it would cost to update a truck with these sensors.
Otto was created by former Google employees that worked on self-driving cars and Google Maps.

Last year, truck maker Freightliner revealed the first self-driving commercial truck.
To receive a special license plate in Nevada for autonomous operation on public highways.
That truck called inspiration has cameras built into the front that watched out for road signs, lane markers, and other nearby vehicles.
It still requires a human driver to get the truck moving from a start and to handle some maneuvers.
