Save notes from Safari as sound filesIn Safari 4, part of Mac OS X Snow Leopard, text can be turned into speech and saved to iTunes.
[ MUSIC ] ^M00:00:09 >> [Tom Merritt:] OS 10 Snow Leopard introduces some nifty new features into Safari that expand your contextual menu options. You can save highlighted text as a note or a sound file. I'm looking at the developer's preview here, but it's going to be the same in the retail version. Here's how you do it: in Safari, open the web page you want, then highlight the text you wish to save. Now, right-click or control-click. Choose "make a new mail note," and the highlighted text will be saved as a note in the mail app. Or better yet, choose "add to iTunes" as a spoken track. The highlighted text will be converted from text to speech, and the voice track can be found in iTunes.
