The new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
At least, I think they're new, because they both look like phones of previous models.
Seriously, does anybody else notice this too?
Look, they're still made of glass and metal.
They still have that premium feel that I love.
But from what I can see so far, the changes are pretty minimal.
So here's what's new.
First, the Edge here flies up from a 5.1 inch screen to a 5.5 inch screen so it's bigger than the S7.
Next, that second menu on the Edge The display has the bigger tile size and you can put way more stuff on it.
Also, both phones have an always-on display which means that you can see the time or calendar even when the screen is off.
Next, the camera drops from 16 megapixels to 12 megapixels.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about, because we're promised better photos, and auto focus really is extremely fast, and, there's one more really great thing.
Samsung has brought back the water resistant body and the micro sd card slot that everybody missed last year.
But sorry purists, the phone batteries still won't come out.
[SOUND] So, what does all of this mean for you?
That, so far, the s7 and the s7 edge are capable and really tightly designed, will probably be a little bit better than last years phones.
But, I gotta say it, until I can really live the phone, the changes just seem a little too minor to get excited about.
Unless you're upgrading from an older phone.
They go on sale starting March 11th.
