>> I'm Tom Merit from CNET.com with a quick tip on freeing up some space on your hard drive and improving your PC's performance. When you install and uninstall programs over time they leave a lot of unused or broken bits of data on your computer called registry entries that just take up space. To get rid of them we're going to use a program called C cleaner. It's free and recommended by Jason Parker over at download.com. Start C cleaner then navigate to the issues panel of C cleaner. You'll see checked boxes next to the name of components that C cleaner will fix. Uncheck anything if you don't want C cleaner to mess with it, but pretty much I'm leaving everything checked. Now press scan for issues C cleaner will display all the broken or unused entrees currently on your hard drive. When you're ready press fix selected issues to put C cleaner to work. Now you can rest easy knowing there's a little less clutter on your computer. I'm Tom Merritt for CNET.com stay clean.
