Quick Tips: Change Vista display settingsWe'll show you how to change screen resolution, position, and colors in Windows Vista.
[ Music ] ^M00:00:01 >> Need to change the display settings in Windows Vista? Good luck finding them. Especially if you're used to Windows XP. I'm Tom Merritt from CNET.com with a quick tip on how to take control of your screen in Vista. Just like in XP it starts with a right click on the desktop. But instead of properties, you'll see this option called personalize. Select it, it is in fact what you're looking for, go to the bottom of the list and click on display settings. Now you may see something familiar. Here you can change the screen resolution, the number of monitors or the color options. Once you have it set, press okay. Now why not leave it the way it worked in XP? Don't ask me, I'm just helping you deal with it. That's it for this quick tip. I'm Tom Merritt for CNET.com. ^M00:00:46 [ Music ]
