Project Tango makes augmented tech a realityLenovo shows how you can play games like dominoes with Project Tango and its new Phab2 Pro tablet.
The first experience is, an out of the box app to help introduce people to the new functionality of their new phones. And so as you can see here, what it's doing, it is building a point cloud of the stage in front of us. As I walk around, you can see it recognizes a 3D shape around it. It's mostly a flat stage, so there's a flat store here. and we are visited by some friends and transforms the world into a fully virtual space and begins to grow the life around him and if we want to I can get up to and close. Look at all the details in the flowers. [MUSIC] Right. So what we have here is a collection of dinosaurs that we can visualize. And the fun thing is that we can actually place them here on the stage. We have a velociraptor, here. If I want to see, compare it to one of the other dinosaurs I place him there. [BLANK_AUDIO] And we can see the different animals that are on stage with us. And you can see the different sizes and learn a little bit about each one. That's the Tyrannosaurus Rex, but you can see in the upper right it says he's 20% size. The stage is pretty big, so we can actually try to get him Full size here, like this. [APPLAUSE] Hey, guy, you can take a look at his teeth, no response. There you go, there he is. [LAUGH] [LAUGHS] What we can do is that we have a large selection of colored dominos, but we also have a toybox of different items here. So what it uses a depth sensor, and if I want to create a set of dominos, all I have to do is click and drag like this. I hit start- [MUSIC] And we have a nice little domino set. [MUSIC] Okay, here we go. [MUSIC] There you go, all right. [MUSIC]
