Product Spotlight: AT&T Tilt
>> Brian Tong: This newest kid on the block from AT&T that has a touch screen. No I'm not talking about the iPhone and QWERTY keyboard. I'm Brian Tong from CNET.com and we spotlight another super hot phone for AT&T, the Tilt.

>> The Tilt is definitely one of a kind and its innovative design all start with its slide out screen. Now they don't call the Tilt for nothing and its 2.8 inch screen tilts 40 degrees for better viewing angle. The slide and tilting feels solid and it acts almost like a mini laptop when you set it on a flat surface. Now the other great design feature is its QWERTY keyboard. Its one of the roomiest I've ever seen and the large rectangular keys are backlit and real easy to press. Now the phone itself is a little bulky and heavy but it's got some nice rounded corners and a solid grippy feel on the backside. Okay, we got the looks covered so let's talk some features. To say this phone is loaded with connectivity is an understatement. Everything you can think of is packed in here with WiFi Bluetooth 2.0, 3G connectivity and GPS. And the 3G really comes into play since the Tilt connects to AT&T video and music services. Video downloads are speedy and in sync and for music you can purchase songs and also stream XM satellite radio. It also has a 3 mega pixel camera but there is no flash and shots aren't that great compared to other camera phones. Now it's the first phone for AT&T that uses Windows Mobile 6 professional edition and it comes loaded with the full Microsoft Mobile Office Suite. That means creating and editing word, excellent PowerPoint files on the phone. You got to love that. With all those goodies we got to look at the badies. Now it's another feature rich phone but we still need the juice to support it. Battery life was on the shorter side and so far allowed to squeeze out 3 and half hours of talk time. Not so hot. Now call quality is great but once you switch over to speaker phone that's a whole another story. It's hard to hear callers and they have trouble hearing us too. And when we tested the GPS out it had trouble getting a fix on our position at the time and that's when we were in an open area. So we can't say that was an easy to use feature just yet. Now sure we have to point these things out but without a doubt the Tilt is one of the hottest and most powerful smart phones for business users. If you want a touch screen and a keyboard this is where you should be looking. I am Brian Tong for CNET.com. And AT&T's Tilt just brings it with its wireless options, Windows Mobile 6 and an innovative tilt screen.
