>> Hi I'm Natali Del Conte here at CES 2008 with a First Look at the Panasonic HDC-SD9. Now this is one of the smaller camcorders that we've seen throughout the whole show; it's really small. It's less than a pound, you can see it fits here in my hand and I have pretty teeny hands. Now Panasonic released a couple of these this week. This is the lower end of these models and the reason it's the lower end is because it doesn't have any internal memory. You actually have to load it up with your own SD card which fits here in the back. Now Panasonic did release a 32 gig SD card this week but we don't know pricing on that just yet so you get the memory card of your choice loaded up here; otherwise it's a pretty nifty little camera. It has a 2-inch screen here, that's an LCD screen, it's using 24p and it's full HD at 1920 by 1080. It also has optical image stabilization which is Panasonic's own technology which basically redirects the light through the lens when your hands starts to jitter so it's supposed to stabilize your picture a bit. This one is 799 dollars and it will be available in March at all the major retailers. I'm Natali Del Conte with your First Look at the Panasonic HDC-SD9 camcorder.
