We have the front facing camera which enables our really quick face unlock feature, and so we need to keep the unit here.
We also have our speaker grill.There is one solution where you can put the speaker grill like really hidden on the top and then connect it through a wire and have it have the actual unit somewhere inside of the phone.
But that degrades the actual quality so we didn't opt for that.
We also have our LED lights, some phones don't have the LED light anymore.
But for our users the ability to have it and also customize different colors depending on which apps they're using is really valuable for them.
And lastly we also have the proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
So basically that's why we need all of this space.
Just simplicity and digital well being.

So, for us that's beneficial for the user and is also the overall direction of where the industry is heading, not just about the nudge but, about having a larger and larger screen [UNKNOWN] on the front of the phone.
