>> Hi, I'm Will Greenwald, assistant editor at cnet.com
and this is the Olympus Stylus 790 SW. This is the
follow-up to the Olympus Stylus 770 SW which was their
last waterproof, weather-proof, pretty much
everything-proof camera. Like the 770 SW, this camera
can be soaked, it can be frozen, it can be stomped on,
and it's also dust-proof. It can handle being submerged
in up to 10 feet of water and there's an optional casing
so you can take it into lower depths. It can --
shock-proof, so if you drop it, it doesn't really --
hurt it. Which is a lot more than I can say for a lot
of cameras. Look, still works. It can handle fine
dust, it can handle freezing, it can handle pretty much
anything you can throw at it. And in terms of consumer
point-and-shoot cameras this is one of the more durable
you're going find. Now, it's a 7 megapixel camera, so
it hasn't changed a whole lot from the 770, but it does
use Olympus's TruePic III image processor, which means
it should be a little faster and produce a little better
picture quality. Also, unlike the 770 SW this comes in
five different colors. So if you want to take away a
lime-green or an orange camera and go swimming with
that, you can. I'm Will Greenwald, and this is the
Olympus Stylus 790 SW. [ Music ]
