Norm wants to do away with the traditional thermostat
Hey, I'm Megan Woolerton for Student Ed at Corky's New York offices and they have just unveiled Norm as an eighty dollar sensor.
A little tiny sensor that you can put in any room you want to control your heating and cooling environment.
Now this is really interesting because it's kind of the bizarro thermostat.
It's saying forget about your single thermostat that's controlling your whole home.
These little sensors can be put throughout your home to give a more accurate indication of your heating your heating and cooling situation.
So if one room tends to be hot, one room tends to be cooler you can take the averages throughout your house and try to make.
A better environment for yourself and your family.
Doing away with a thermostat entirely is a pretty bold step.
But it's taking that step and it's all available on the Wink app as well so you can do all of your other smart home integrations in one place.
It will work along side the Slaughter Unique that Quirky also unveiled today and will be shipped starting in December of this year.
