Nokia has a good reputation when it comes to decent, very cheap phones, and this is its latest offer, the 220.
Let's take a look.
So, affordable is the word here.
This thing only costs 29 Euros.
It comes preloaded with Facebook and Twitter.
It's got Microsoft Bing search as well, which is integrated into Nokia's browser app.
It's gonna come in both single and dual SIM variants, and Nokia says that
this thing will manage a month's standby time.
Of course, the reason it can last so long is because the hardware here is not particularly flashy.
This is a 2-megapixel camera on the back.
This isn't a touchscreen so you'll be forced to use the buttons and it only has 2G connectivity.
So no 3G, and 4G is completely out of the question.
So, this phone obviously isn't for anyone who's off to a really leading-edge, high-flying smartphone, but if you're in the country where those kind of mobiles aren't widespread yet, or if you just want a cheap backup phone, this could
be one to look out for.
