Nissan Ariya concept is the shape of things to come

Now look, the Nissan LEAF is great, but today's consumer what they want is an SUV.
So if you're a Nissan dealer or you're a consumer, you probably want something like that.
That is the new Nissan Ariya.
And it's a Concept, but kind of a name only.
What we've got here is a brand new fully electric EV, and it looks like it's about the size of the Murano when it's actually a little bit shorter than a road, but it's got real presence.
Underneath Nissan's not sharing a whole lot of details about the powertrain just yet, but I have learned that it'll be able to take more than one motor and more than one battery size.
So there should be a range of different options when a vehicle like this comes to market What I really like about it is its styling.
It's sleek, it's sophisticated, and that topper trim that's over the roofline and shown up in the wheel details is something that will see in future EBS from Nissan.
The front and rear lights on this car are really well done and I would expect to see something very similar in production.
What is unusual for a Nissan is that the back graphic has no hamburger Well that's actually what the internals call they Nissan logo that they usually stick on the back of these cars.
EV's from now on, SUV's, They're going to have a cleaner look and it'll just spell out Nissan on the back.
It's a nice touch.
Some of that great copper detailing on the outside also carries into the interior where's it's used as an accent to really sort of EV ness to this vehicle.
One of the other nice features of the interior is when it's off it looks super sleek all you see are blank screens and very little in the way of switch gear.
But hit the start button and it all comes to life, there's even switch gear hidden in the wood detailing.
So how do I know that this vehicle is production bound?
Two things One it's got a real name.
It's not I am whatever.
The second thing is that everything about it screams production, it's got realistically size wheels, it's got actual door handles, it's got normal side mirrors.
This thing is on for production.
