>> Hi, I'm Will Greenwald assistant editor of CNET.com and this is the Nintendo Wii Zapper. If you grew up in the 80?s and you had a Nintendo entertainment system you might remember the original Zapper. It was a grey or bright orange sort of pistol like gun that you could play Duck Hunt or Hogan's Alley with. Well, after almost 20 years it's back in this form. Now instead of a life gun the Wii Zapper is really just a plastic enclosure to hold the Wii mote and the nunchuck. But if you take out all these parts, it's just a little dinky piece of plastic. In fact, all it does is hold both controllers like this so you can sort of hold it like a gun. The Zapper does give it sort of a nice gun like feel even though it doesn't look like a gun. It makes it feel a lot more solid and gives the controller a lot more stability. Fortunately there's a little rubber door that holds the base of the nunchuck and keeps it nice and stable. And there's an additional sliding plastic door that hides a pair of hooks where you can keep the excess wire spooled. It does keep the Zapper pretty clean and it's not too hard to take the Wii mote out soon as you're ready. Now, for 20 bucks if you're not into those games you might not think this would be worth it because it's just a plastic shell you put your controllers in. However, comes the great packing game Lynx Crossbow Training. It is a selection of a bunch of different little arcade shooter levels that are themed around Lynx Legend of Zelda that sort of thing. So, you're shooting sort of the same targets that you would've found in Legends of the Twilight Princess. And it actually provides a lot of variety for a pack in title in a 20 dollar accessory. The Wii Zapper doesn't really seem like a lot, but the price is pretty low considering you get this new little gun shaped holder for your controllers and a pretty darn good game. This is a pretty good deal. I'm Will Greenwald this has been Nintendo Wii Zapper.
