Slingbox adds an entry-level device to its product lineup and updates its existing offering. Sling Media's general manager explains what the changes mean for consumers who want to watch video content when on the go.
[MUSIC] Sling Box M1 allows the customer to take their paid TV service, satellite, cable, IP TV, and place shift that anywhere in the world, anywhere in their backyard, live or recorded. We also have upgraded our Sling Box 500. With all new firmware and all new applications with what we are now referring to as SlingTv. SlingTV takes your pay TV service and overlays all those interesting features, search, metadata, applications to the TV, not just your mobile device. We're giving you live scores and live stats about the about the sports events that you're watching, or the ones that you are watching with out having to change the channel. The product launches with, with a two of the apps that we've had for a while, dish world, and blockbuster video demand. But we'll be adding in the future additional apps in to this platform, that are. Video content centric apps.
