Hi guys, I'm here at CES Unveiled, I'm taking a look at the Netatmo Presence, this is an outdoor security camera hidden inside a floodlight and the deal is it can tell the difference between people, cars and animals, so you only get notifications on things that actually matter There's no face recognition here, but that's gonna hopefully make this camera that much faster.
Replace your existing floodlight with this guy, and then you can use the app to establish zones within its 100 degree field [UNKNOWN] Within those zones, you can tell it what to look for.
So, if there's a public sidewalk outside your place, you might not need to know that there are people walking there, but you might wanna know if there's a car driving along that sidewalk.
You also can know if there's a Person that wanders closer than that zone you've established.
Netatmo's bringing its learning algorithm to the outdoors, and I'm excited to see if this really can beef up your home security.
