Movie World brings The Evil Within to life
Each October Warner Bros Movie World hosts Fright Night.
A series of.
Horror themed mazes that take place after hours.
This year for the first time they're doing a gaming IP, namely the upcoming horror title the Evil Within.
Developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda the Evil Within comes from the terrifying mind of Shinji Mikami the man behind the Resident Evil series and considered by many to be the father of survival horror games.
In a unique partnership, Bethesda from Warner Brothers Movie World actually worked closely with Mikami to bring the game to life.
With initial talks starting back in March of this year.
Visitors to Maze will live through scenes from the game brought to life with a terrifying level of detail.
We spoke to the designer of the maze about why partnering with the Evil Within has worked so well for Fright Night.
First up a massive fan of Bethesda and the games.
And it just fit perfectly for what I wanted to achieve this year.
Alright it's super scary game.
That's exactly what I'm after when I'm designing a maze.
What's your favorite part of the Evil Within maze?
I'm gonna go with four armed Laura the reborn spider.
The surprisingly frightening maze of The Evil Within runs inside of Fright Nights at Warner Brothers Movie World for the entirety of October.
And the game itself is out on October 16 for old gen, new gen, and PC.
