How much would you expect to get out of a sub $300 or sub 300 pound phone?
A shock-proof aluminum body?
The same camera sensor that's in the Samsung Galaxy S7?
How bout the latest version of Android Nougat?
On the Moto G5 Plus, you get them all.
The 5.2 inch phone looks good and handles well.
Short time we've had with it so far.
The 12 megapixel camera has a pro mode where you can tinker with the setting and a five megapixel selfie cam complete with beauty mode.
See this thing that looks like a home button?
It's not a home button, it's the thing Fingerprint reader.
It does have an unseen mose markers though strangely and sadly not in the US.
And they take you sometime to convince yourself that it really won't take you back to the start screen but it won't.
That is unless you turn on one button navigation.
Which will turn the fingerprint sensor into a home button and will also let you swipe through the screen.
It replaces the onscreen control.
You'll also find Moto actions like twisting the phone twice to open the camera or switch between front and back lenses.
For an even cheaper and simpler version, the Moto G5 has a 5 inch screen and the same metal body of the G5 plus but it also has half the storage, a smaller battery and a weaker processor.
Just be aware that you won't be able to buy the Motor G5 in every market, for example, it's not coming to the US.
The Motor G5 and G5 Plus will start selling globally this spring.
