Hey I'm CNET's Ry Crist here at CES with the first look at the misfit bulb.
Now this is a color changing smart LED from a company that's best known for fitness trackers, wearable tech.
It's kinda an odd fit for this company, but when you think about it, it does sort of make sense.
You've got a color changing light that can respond to your sleep patterns that can wake you up in the morning, and the light will integrate with the existing catalog of misfit products, you can turn it on and off with the misfit flash, you can.
Sync it up with your Bet It and with other products in the Miss It line that will let it know when you're going to sleep, when you need to wake up.
It'll wake you up in the morning with a simulated sunrise even.
It's an 800 lumen bulb that uses 13 watts, which is brighter than Phillips' Hue.
And it's also cheaper.
It's only $50, and that's pretty low cost of entry for a color-changing smart LED.
Here at ces it's with [UNKNOWN] bolt I'm [UNKNOWN].
