Hey, everyone.
I'm Jessica Dolcourt for CNET, here at MobileCon 2012 in San Diego.
I'm taking a first look at the MiFi Liberate for AT&T.
This is a 4G LTE hotspot made by Novatel Wireless.
And what's extraordinary about it, is it's the first one ever with a touchscreen.
So, with the screen, you're able to access
connection to-- up to 10 different devices, you can manage it from the device.
Check out your data usage, you can go into settings, you can also receive messages from the carrier for example.
You can access file sharing and manage all sorts of GPS settings and things like that.
There is space for 32 Gigabytes of external storage, and what that does is it makes it possible to share the data stored on this device with all the other devices that are connected to it.
There's also DLNA support, so you can connect directly with external speakers for example that are also DLNA ready.
If you wanna stream music, photos and videos to other connected devices, you can certainly do so.
However, you will need to go to a laptop, tablet or smart phone and go to a certain website and that'll help you get going.
There's no pricing or availability yet but this is your first look at the Mifi Liberate for AT&T, 4G LTE hotspot, a Novatel Wireless.
