Meet the new Motif line of advanced coffee machines
The people behind Bonavita's high performance drip coffee brewers have launched a new brand.
Called Motif the brand will consist of two new home coffee makers.
First is the Motif Essential.
Starting price for this machine is 169 dollars for a glass carafe and hot plate model.
The thermal version will cost 189 dollars.
It has a similar look and feel to the Bonavita BV 1900 and even fancy tech or mocha masters.
The Motif Elements coffee maker will cost between $179 and $199.
This brewer though will be programmable, have a removable water tank and a wedge shape design to better fit inside the corners of kitchen counter tops.
Both brewers are also built to the SCAA strict certification standard for home coffee makers.
So hopefully, they'll be able to sling what the industry group has classified as golden cups of joe.
Last is the $99 motif mentor.
It's a small visual scale which communicates with a companion Android 4 iOS mobile app which will guide you through the coffee brewing process.
That includes accurately measuring grounds and water for many brewing styles such as cold brew, pour over, drip and espresso.
Expect the motif line of products to ship in September of 2017
