Don't panic.
There's still a way to add, remove, and rearrange home screens in Android 4.4 KitKat.
There's just a new way to do it.
If you have Google Now enabled, the home screen on the far left will always be Google Now, but you can customize all the other home screens however you like.
To add a new home screen, just long press an app icon and drag it over to the right and a new home screen will be
added.
If you look closely you'll see a little plus sign show up on the navigation bar at the bottom indicating that you're adding a new screen.
At this point you can rearrange a home screen by long pressing an empty space on the screen then dragging and dropping it wherever you like.
There isn't a quick way to delete an entire home screen and all its contents.
Instead, remove all the icons from the screen you wanna remove and it'll disappear.
