And there are tons of new features for Apple's latest operating system.
I'm Jason Parker for CNet, and today I'm gonna be taking a closer look at how to use Apple's new continuity features.
With Yosemite, moving your work to another Apple device couldn't be easier.
Once connected to the same Apple ID, and on the same Wi-Fi, you just start working on one device and the other device will give you a button in the lower left corner to continue working.
Say you're making a list for a party in the notes app on my iPad.
So I want to switch over to my Mac, I just look for the icon next to the doc, click it, and keep working while iCloud Drive syncs everything up behind the scenes.
It's almost too easy.
The other great continuity feature is the ability to hand off phone calls.
Just like the previous example, as long as my Mac and my iPhone have the same Apple ID in the same Wi-Fi, an incoming call will use my iPhone as a connection point, then hand off the call to my Mac.
From there, I can answer and use my Mac just like a speaker phone.
Even if another person calls while I'm on the line, I can hold and switch callers, deny the incoming call, or add the new caller to a group conversation.
